Das Europäische Schießsportforum (ESSF) ist eine informelle Plattform, in der Vertreter internationaler Organisationen des Schießsports und der Jagd sowie Waffensammler, Händler und die Industrie, welche auf europäischer Ebene tätig sind, einen offenen Dialog und Diskussionen zu Fragen gemeinsamen Interesses mit besonderem Augenmerk auf die ökologischen, rechtlichen, politischen und sozio-ökonomischen Aspekte dieser Tätigkeiten führen.

Diese Organisationen gehören zum ESSF:
1.     Association of European Manufacturers of Sporting Firearms (ESFAM)
2.     Association of European Sporting Ammunition Manufacturers (AFEMS)
3.     European Association of the Civil Commerce of Weapons (AECAC)
4.     European Shooting Sports Council (ESSC) that represents, inter alia,

• European Shooting Confederation (ESC)

• Federation Internationale de Tir aux Armes Sportives et de Chasse (FITASC)

5.     Federation of Associations for Hunting and Conservation of the EU (FACE)
6.     Foundation for European Societies of Arms Collectors (FESAC)
7.     Institut Européen des Armes de Chasse et de Sport (IEACS)
